Fun Facts

Sagan is surely getting more and more popular each and every day. This is mainly because he has an uncanny ability to contest the victory almost regardless of the profile or the terrain. Let's be honest, he cannot indeed conquer Alpe d'Huez or Col du Galibier or the Passo dello Stelvio, not right now at least. He neither will be in the top 10 in the long time trials (25+ km.), but he is there for almost anything else.

Besides his super engine, he is also popular for various tricks he pulls, victory salutes of his own and Saganesque quotes.

Why don't we have a look of what he's up to thus far?

E3 Prijs Vlaanderen - Harelbeke 2013: I guess we all know Sagan is getting on well with the podium girls. Here is another proof. Actually it is not quite clear whether there is a mutual understanding between both sides, but here is the photo, judge for yourselfves.

Peter was unable to follow Cancellara (RadioShack - Leopard) when he launched his solo attack attacked from an elite group on the Oude Kwaremont with 35 kilometres to go. Despite all the efforts, the chasers (Sagan included) weren't able to bring Fabian back and he claimed the victory with 1'08" to spare. Peter however was able to win the sprint for second and Daniel Oss (BMC) came third.

Despite still not getting his first cobble classic victory, Peter enjoyed his time on the podium.
